Designed and executed by the artist Roger Eyes R., “Wes’ Ghoast” first debuted in 1999 as the infamous graffiti character “OctoGhost”, evolving by the mid 2000s into it’s renowned most current form and alter-ego “Wesley Ghoast the Ghost-ghost” aka “Wes’ Ghoast.” A play-on-words paying homage to it’s haunting West Coast origins. The design was first inspired by the ghosts in the classic Pac Mac arcade game and influenced by German graffiti artist Flying Fortress 243 ‘s (123klan) style but the design’s true concept & essence conjured from the transparency of the living and the telling-souls we carry.
